Keep this handy

Your visit

A few things to help you get ready for a Makers’ Retreat. You can read this guide here or print a copy to keep.

1. Choose your retreat

On the retreats page, you’ll find the dates, what you’ll be making, the price and what’s included.

Read how to book and the terms for your chosen retreat. Sending an enquiry doesn’t reserve a place.

2. Tell us what you need

Email retreats@yarramancp.com.au with your questions. Before you book, let us know what would help you join in, such as written instructions, space for a wheelchair or a particular seating setup.

Cabin accommodation is booked alongside your retreat and costs extra. We can talk through the cabin, bathroom and paths to the Craft Room so you can decide whether they’ll suit you.

For questions about getting around the park, email bookings@yarramancp.com.au.

3. Check what to bring

What you need to bring depends on your retreat. Check which tools, materials or machine you’ll need before buying anything.

If you don’t use Facebook, ask us to send the details another way. Let us know how you’d like to receive them.

Ask for the retreat timetable, and check when to arrive, when you can check into your cabin and when you need to check out.

4. Plan your arrival

Yarraman Caravan Park & Cabins
12121 D’Aguilar Highway
Yarraman QLD 4614

Read the directions to the park. Let us know before you arrive if you have questions about parking or unloading your things.

If you’d like someone to show you around, ask the park to arrange this before your visit. You can also ask for written information or larger print.

5. Settle into making

We make together in the Craft Room. You can look through its photos before you come to see the tables, equipment and how the room is arranged.

Every retreat is different. If you have questions about the activities or breaks, or need help to take part, let us know so we can talk it through.
